  • Finally Deploying

My b/f had a habit of always looking at the clock when it was 9:11 p.m. and he kept telling me that it was the date to when he was gonna die. I'm not sure how he did the math for it to come out to 10 years, but yeah apparently i had 10 years to cherish him whatever. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago i was on leave and i got the call that i had been tasked to deploy and my departure date was going to be September 11. Well i guess that time was my departure date, not him dying. So after being in the AF for 3 years I am finally deploying. So Ndnsoldierboy if you're out there i'll be seeing ya.

Be careful...and keep your head down.

            Come back safe.

Thank you all so much for you prayers and support. I'm not really worried about myself, i know that i will be well protected. I will be leaving behind a beautiful daughter for 4 months and it hurts to have to be away from her and having to explain why i am leaving is the hardest part, she is too young to understand. she is going to turn 5 and i will be gone by that time :sad But if you guys can pray for her to not be sad and down while i am gone, and for her to always remember that i love her. I would really appreciate it.

We will be praying for you and your lil one, prayer's for strength and so much more. She may be little but its the little ones that I feal can be so much stronger than we ever think they can be. She knows that you love her , I tell my lil ones you know I love you so very much. They say yes mama not because you tell us with words but we can feal your love in our hearts. So even though you wont be seeing her every day for a while does not mean she cannot feal your love and know everything you do is for her. From one mother to another I send love and many hugs!
I got a fevah! And the only cure is more cowbell!!!

Plumes- Oh yeah kids are very smart and she is very strong. The last time i had to leave her she just had like a tear drop and then after that when she told me bye like she didn't pay any mind that i was leaving. and when i would call she would break my heart by not wanting to talk to me cuz she was 2 busy playin with her cousin. but she knows i love her very much but i will be so much farther, across the ocean instead of a couple of states away. it's kind of hard to make her comprehend what a deployment is, and what war is, and why i have to go across the ocean. she'll get it one day.

Ndnsoldierboy- Please do have one for me every time you have one. Not that i'm a drinker but while i'm over there i know i'll need it, and then send me those great buzzing vibes.

50cal- That's why i joined the AF. I really feel for you guys though, i have a Navajo friend in the marines and first night he was there they encountered a Mercedes with a bomb in it, and captured the people and well for his first night being there he got a medal. For us we have to do a convoy w/ Ndnsoldierboy's people to get a medal other than that we don't go through what you guys do so my props go out to anybody who's in the marines and the army.
