I didn't discover this until we moved from Camp Fallujah to Camp TQ. As crappy as Fallujah was, there WAS NOT ANYTHING I didn't like about it!!! You had exactly what you needed. Fallujah was run by MARDIV- For Grunts, by Grunts.

YouTube - Hotel Camp Fallujah (ORIGINAL)

BTW, the DFAC 2 (D-F-A-C two in the song- you can tell the singer is a civvy), aka the Little Vegas Cafe was where I ate everyday while I was there. Those 4 porta-johns in the video sat right out front too. I defiled those many, many times.. Hope thats not giving away too much OPSEC.

We started off at Al-Asad, spent about a month there. I went from the nice cushy cans to staying in those old abandoned Iraqi squadbays at Fallujah. I couldn't complain about that, because I had an entire bay to myself (because thats where I ran medical out of). After bouncing around a little more, we finished our deployment at TQ.

TQ is about like Al-Asad, but everything is in one spot. Since TQ was run by MLG, they had the good stuff!!! And since its in the neighborhood of Ramadi, Habbiniyah, and Fallujah, you can still hold your head-up amongst your peers when you say thats where you were... Instead of Camp Cupcake (aka Al-Asad).
