I love this poster...I used to think of like this all the time...choke points, avenues of approach, nice place to set up a delibrate ambush, or get ambushed, set up base of fire on hill tops, call in air strikes, etc.

Today is my first b-day out of the military...it feels weird not being in the military anymore. I am still getting used to civilian life.

                  Whiskey Echo Bravo, out.

It may very well happen...the Yankees pitching has wayyyyyy toooo many injuries...not even sure they make the wild card.

                          GO BRONX BOMBERS!!!

Still working on my disabilty rating. Dang, this does take awhile. But I spoke to a cousin who never served but got hurt on the job and it took her over four years to receive her disability. Mine should be done in one year and it already been seven months.

Ndnsoldierboy, here's wishing you all the best so that you get what you deserve and more. My son will be going on his 14th year in 2013 and he wants to go for the full 20. He has been deployed on three year-long deployments before being wounded twice within three months of each other in 2007. I am happy for you that you were able to fulfill your committments and continue to encourage those who are still in the service. Thank you for being who you are and what you stand for!

It was my Honor to be out on the battlefield and seeing combat not only as a Marine, but also as a U.S. soldier, and to lead troops in combat as well.
