    Hello all,

I am new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sonny, I am an artist in many, many mediums including but not limited to, metal fabrication, tattooing, oils, silversmithing, leather, woodworking, drum making, beading, sculpture, and many many more. I try not to tie myself to one medium so i have many things to do to keep busy. I have noticed I know a couple of folks here and really enjoy my native american heritage. I love to go and camp and visit with all the peoples at pow wows and get togethers around the southern part of Indiana. If anyone has any questions about me or need any help with anything just ask I will be happy to help in anyway I can.

welcome Sonny. Hope you enjoy yourself here.
I do have a question. My last tattoo (done at a local shop in buiseness for over 20 yrs, same artist, good rep) i had an allergic reaction to lubricant they put on when they finished. Had hives for a couple days. I know it was the lubricant cause i could see by the placement of hives. Anyway when it healed the colour was very uneven and faded. Is it cause of the hives?

Welcome to the circus. Hmmm, we have a few things in common. Although I would never call myself an artist, I do like to "mess around" a little. Although it's not an original, I painted the mural behind me in my profile photo. I also like to make "art" (?) with barbed wire. (check out the photos on my profile). I've been decorating animal skulls and bones lately also just for fun. Anyway, welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!!!!!!

As for the stuff they used, without knowing what it is I would'nt be able to tell you what the reaction was. if it was A&d ointment if they didn't get the good stuff the cheap stuff has fish oil in and some people are alergic to it. same symptoms you had. you can email me directly at [email protected] to further discuss this.

Thanks For all the warm welcomes again.

                    Sonny

Researching my father's genealogy, we were always told we did have some Native American blood in us, HOWEVER - we have no idea where specifically it came in, or what tribe. I do know it was introduced from my Great Grandmother's side of the family (this would...
