I have a question Whome. Is Wallace Coffey the same one that worked at Haskell a number of years and then retired around 1989? I could swear the older man that ran my dorm was named Wallace Coffey. I'm very curious, since I'm very far from your part of the country now.

            WW,

To my knowledge, Wallace has never worked at Haskell. He attended Harvard University and has worked in Nebraska and New Mexico, that I know of. He is now the current Comanche Tribal Chairman.

I consider him my "hytes" and we both have some good "shame stories" on each other! *L

            On another note....

There is an emcee from the Seattle area that is on a wheelchair. I think his name is Harold? Does anybody know who I am talking about?

I was very impressed with his announcing during one of the University of Washington powwows.

Perhaps this was his father or uncle. As I remember, this Wallace Coffey was Comanche also. He sure was a tough old bird, but we liked him.

I think you may be referring to Cheevers Coffey?

I was fortunate enough to come into the possession of a nice halibut fillet. Adn pretty big too.

Half of it I seasoned with liberal sprinklings of:

                                  black pepper
                                  cayenne
                                  garlic powder
                                  onion powder
ground sea salt ($1 at the Dollar Store)...
