Whaddabout double beats? R'member them ones that drums first started singin' that started off with a shake, then turned into a double-beat, then turned into a fast straight. What happened to them kinda songs?

Now, folks are just singin' straights or the Crow-style double beats, naw meen.

Depends on where you go. Up around Minnesota, North Dakota, & Manitoba, danced to that style of song several times this year.

every now and then you would hear a double beat, but now its the second of choice now.

but i go to crow pow wows alot so i used to hearing double beats all the time.
