Hey, thanks for the positive input on RG, he is my brother and he never gets on the computer and he kept asking me, "Did I look alright, did I do OK?" So, I will have to tell that the pow wow internet thinks he did a good job.
RG is the assistant basketball coach at Riverside Indian School and helped to take them to the state championships last year for the first time in school history. Not too many indian schools make it that far, Sequoyah has made it 3 years now and Frontier school is also making it a yearly trip. But Riveriside had never been and they have made it to regionals and area every year since RG has been assisting. He is very devoted to this sport and to his team. So that takes most of his time during the summer, taking them to camps and to NABI, visiting them during the summer at their reservations and meeting their tribal leaders and families.
It was good to see him in the arena in his regalia and dancing that style that he worked on for so many years. I don't think he will be returning on the competitive level real soon, he was really out of shape by his standards, but who knows...maybe that pow wow will be his debut since they have 35 and over quite a bit now. lol Thanks for the positive input....just thought I would respond and let the internet family know why he has been gone so long and that he was real excited about dancing again. Terrance Goodwill wore his new outfit for the all around and placed 3rd. LOLI am thankful for my grandparents, my parents, my brothers, my aunties and uncles, my children, my companion and all of those who influenced me to be strong and proud of being who I am and where I come from. Man, I used to have a video of Red Earth 1994 Men's Fancy spotlight special, man, that was a dance clinic he put on when he was under the spotlight.It is so sad that a family can torn apart by something as simple as a wild pack of dogs.Comment

R.G. Harris is the baddest fancy dancer around..Whenever I see him at pow-wows I don't hesitate to tell him so..He's the baddest..And I'm quite sure he can annihilate anyone under the age of 35!...Comment

RG is the best fancy dancer in the South and the North. He has influenced so many fancy dancer from both regions. I can see his moves in almost everyones dance style today.

Whenever I watched him dance, I always looked forward to seeing him fire the crowd up. He always knew what to do to get the audience excited. He has always been a crowd pleaser.
