Who has the coolest bustles?
Okay, I needed to post a new thread and this is it. U know the question.

I like Nolan Smallboy/Roan's bustles. The colors on them are AWESOME. That neon yellow up against that red just makes 'em stand out! They are VERY eye-catching! -
I have to agree with cree_iskwew:DHockey is soul food.

About 11 years ago Rick Cleveland (I think) had some cool all black and white eagle bustles.
Jerry Cleveland always has nice bustles.
Stan Whiteman makes some nice hackle bustles.It is so sad that a family can torn apart by something as simple as a wild pack of dogs.Comment

New bustle time! I'll be posting photos and updates here, much like my fancy dance refurb post. First off, the ingredients!
Big brown feathers
Short bundle of black horsehair (8 inches IIRC)
Buffalo rawhide
Artificial sinew

I'm refurbishing an old fancy bustle... most of the dowels on it broke after 20 years and it seems a shame to throw the rest away. I'll be posting up picks as I go.

I'll be getting another bird in the next few weeks, and I'll be adding an inside, and outside row to my bustle (I currently have 1 row, 52 feathers, I'm thinking about breaking that down to about 40 feathers, and creating a "dish" style on the inside) then using the new golden (immature, still)...05-14-2006, 05:09 AM
