Using eagle feathers as hackle bustle spikes?

A question of pure curiosity:

What do you folks think of using eagle feathers in place of turkey spikes on hackle bustles?

I've seen a few eagle-feather fancy dance bustles, and plenty of turkey hackle bustles, but on 2 occasions I've seen a fancy dancer who took eagle...

Don't think they should be used for that.

In a recent story by the Wall Street Journal Eddie Benally, a Navajo conservation officer was quoted as saying that "Powwows are the biggest killer of eagles".

okay, i've seen real eagle feather bustles, and then the fake ones... and how would you score those on competition?

cuz I like the colors of the fakies, but the eagle feather one just has somethin about it....
