Hey yall are getting messed up

Don't forget... you have to dance a 45 minute grand entry and then stand for 25 minutes while they say the prayer (or whatever kind of announcements and goings on) befoer you do the 7-8 round dances

    Boozhoo niji,

I have danced to these, like it, but not all the time. I like the slower songs that let you do intricate moves with your feet and body. The faster songs are really only good for spinning.

I like seeing some of these amatuer drums here in Florida try to mess me up with the bullet songs. I can dance as fast as they can sing, but they get off beat when they go too fast.

How many of you fancy dancers like to dance to those SuperSonic "Bullet" songs?

How many of you would like to see the singers have to dance to one of their own supersonic bullet songs.... just once??? *L

Here is a question for anyone who wants to chew on it... How does a person correctly dance the trot songs? Why are these songs done the way they are? Are there tribal differences? Have a good one and enjoy the holidays!

When I was little, my dad would sing me what I called "the horsey songs," and to this day, they are still my favorite songs to hear at a dance.

I would like to hear of their history. All I've ever known was that they spoke of horses, and that they were beautiful.

Torn between putting this here or in So. Singing. But since it's specific to gourd songs, I decided on here.

I've not really been around the drum very long, but this year I've had the chance to sit in the "cheap seats" during some gourd dancing.

    As I was singing...
