Difference beetween Northern and Southern Fancy dancers ( dancing and regalia)

Who really knows the difference in the dancing and regalia beetween nothern and southern dancers?? i need help im confused!!

I think the southern dancing was more fast paced and intricate footwork. The northern dancers used more total body movement, spins, arms, etc. But as Singerdad said, the lines are becoming more and more blurred.

I am not a fancy dance expert but here's my observations

I notice that southern (most) have the rocker style roaches and northen have the regular ol headroach spreader...and the southern dancers use the scarf in back of their sheep/angora can't even rem what they are called now..and the northern don't. Those usually stand out for me..Plus most southerns bead their outfits totally..
