i'm not sure if this is the right forum for this thread, but it's the closest i can think of. my question is do you have to be a member of the native american church to own a peyote fan. i dreamt on night that i had a peyote fan, and ever since then i've had this urge to have a fan. are there any rules regarding the possession of peyote objects. there aren't any native churches around where i live that i'm aware of. can anyone help?

Crowvisions: I'm not sure if I can answer your question as many of my elders could. They actually have the right to answer these question better.
I know that many of the dancers around do use their church fan in other ways. This is usually out of simple necessity and the lack of having other resources to their availability.
Not sure if I helped or just made things muddier.
Hopefully one of the elders of the church meetings can help better than I did.BOB
