Saturday, June 20 2009, will be Clean Up Day for the Kiowa Gourd Clan. All members are asked to come to the Carnegie City Park around 9:00am. Bring their tools and be ready to work. Members wives are asked to bring something for the noon meal. This is a good time for the younger members and new recruits to help the organization. It's a lot of work, but it's also a lot of fun. You'll hear some good stories.
Also Saturday June 27 2009, has been set aside to bring in willows for the dance arbor. Members should go ahead and cut and haul in a load or two of willows and cover the arbor. My aunt told me there's already a lot of campsites staked out.
