Moccasins
Do you sell your moccasins, as I am very interested in buying a pair with the tough sole. Sent info to "[email protected]". Thank you Elke

I think water shoes or tennis shoes look out of place. A better
idea would be to take your moccasins to a shoemaker and
have him cement on a very thin "topi" or "dance rubber" sole.
This will give the extra protection, traction, and/or water-
proofing you need without looking "wrong".alamosaurus

I apologize to Apache and Cherokee. I just wanted to make a point and you were caught in the crossfire and for that I am sorry.Last edited by quicksilverwade; 05-10-2005, 04:06 PM.

Bigfoot!
Actually, as fast as my son's feet are growing, we have used water shoes lately. I prefer the look of the mocs, especially beaded, but it is definitely cheaper to dress up a $5 pair of watershoes that he will outgrow in 2-3 months versus replacing a pair of mocs every 2-3 months. We did make a pair of mocs for a special powwow that he went to last year, and will do so again next summer. But until then, this poor powwow dancer's mom will buy watershoes!
