for peyote japenese (delica) is best, for everything else japenese seed. They are incredibly uniform inside and out.

definately go with cut beads, esp. for a grass dance outfit. i would suggest czech beads all the way, but i guess japanese would be better for a uniform peyote stitch.

czhech beads are the most common. But if you can find some japanese beads they are more uniformed and the size doesn't vary like the czhech beads do.

I'm not much of a beader, but I think you want cut beads. They're very uniform in size and make it easier to make a good looking piece of peyote stitch. Looks like Crazy Crow has them in Czech and old time German (sz 09, 10,11,12), which is mostly a difference in color choice.
All that said, I really love these... the color is awesome and is what I'd use for my brighter colored grass outfits! Nocbay's Charolette cut colors
come in sz 13 (and sz 13 only).
