    storing roach feather

    How do you (or others you know) store the feathers on the raoch spreader?
    Are they put onto the spreader perm? or made to be removeable on put into a "box"

    Sry can't be more specific not sure if a certain someone visits this site .... and besides I don't have much nice to say lmao

    I separate my feather from the spreader and store it separately.

      That's what i was and want to do but this person taped the feathers on *HIIYAA* Sooo I'm gonna separate them.....

      Now to find me a nice box *teehee*

        Ok out there- everyone who's put together scalp feathers before, this one goes out to you.

        I want to attach a new set of flicker feathers to the bottom of my roach so they'll still flop around as I dance. What have you all found is the best way to do it? I used to use hawk feathers...

        Howdy folks!
        Just curious what the significance of that one feather hangin of the roach stick"pin" is. and what do those two feathers hangin from the side of the raoch(coup feathers?) in the front signify? I see it more on southern dancers in photos then I see on us dancers up here....

        I have been wondering, in everybodys opinion, what is the amount of feathers needed to make a good full set I mean everything from roach to mocs. I have alot of turkeys where I live and just wanted to get an idea of how many wings I would need. Personally I dont like the tails and I can live without...

        Ok, so I got a new roach! i am really pleased with it. I also bought a spreader from nocbay. but i have two questions.

        *What kind of feathers do you think i should/can use.
        *also, what do i put down the center of it? I think they are called bull's tail but im not for sure. ...

        Any ideas on how to assemble a decorative roach spreader?

        Should I use hide or another material?, what should I use to put the designs on? Paints etc...
