Roach Traditions

My elder told me two years ago that I would dance. I didn't even know that I wanted to until he told me that I was going to lol.

Later on he told me I am a grass dancer, then he told me why.

So I have to ask, knowing the origins of the grass dance, Can any of you fellows give me the low down on the roach ceremonies?

I have no plains affiliation, but sometimes tradition is everything.

Honestly, I didn't go through a roach ceremony....I am of eastern woodland heritage. Although, I do believe that this is something you should consult your elder about.
