I have started to notice these on several of the straight dancers in the gallery. Is there a meaning to them? Through my travels and talking with other dancers they have never come up.

I don't wear them. My family does not either. I was always taught that all feathers mean something and what it is added to where it is and how it is worn has meaning... or it should. Age, office, accomplishment, clan, family and so on were all once represented by these. I really don't know much and I am limited to what my family has taught me so I don't know what these represent.

Not sure about the origen of the Eagle Feather shoulder boards. I don't use them and I really don't care for the look. I think this look may have come from or borrowed from the Tradish's. This may be a special family thing, or just someone who thinks ot is coooool.BOB
