  • Straight Dance Belts

And now a work from our sponsor. I've just posted more than 40 straight dance belts that I have made over the years in the galleries section. There are also some vest, side tabs and garters, and other stuff you might find interesting.

Oh, and I'd love to do more, just send me a message.

Hi BeadMan, I really like the belts you posted in the gallery. What size beads do you use?

      • #4
Most are 11/o Czech. Some are 12, and some 13/o cuts. Some time I mix a few sizes just to get the color I want (like the belt with the horses). But I'll make you one with 20/o beads if you got the money!

Bedman your a machine on that loom, but dang they sure look like some keen work.

I really liked the beaded garter sets. I might have to do that for my sons next set...or give you a call to do it. Lord knows it is hard to find the time with all the roaches I do, and I am teaching myself silverwork so I know the only time I will have to bead from now on is in my sleep.

My comments are based on what I have been taught and my experiences over the years I have been around the circle. They should in no way be taken as gospel truths and are merely my opinions or attempts at passing on what I have learned while still learning more.

                      Bugle beads
                      by walela49
Just wondering if anyone has ever worked much with bugle beads. I have a fancy set that's all #2 bugles (ok and some sequins) and I love it...maybe I could be persuaded to post some pics if ya'll try real hard!

Advantages to working in bugles: faster coverage, extra sparkle...what else?...

I do beadwork on a loom and I've been doing it for a while now. People have just recently started buying the work that I do. My problem is that my designs are seeming sort of overused, frankly. I only know of diamonds and I need some new designs. I was just wondering is anyone out there could help...
