Contest dance at Washington University in St. Louis MO

I got to go to a nice dance at Wash U in St Louis MO as I meet new people and visited with old friends. I am proud to say I got to meet wuliechsin. He is a very nice youngman and a good dancer coming on.

My theory about the judging of Straight dancing by those who aren't real familiar with our dance. They like the faster steps used by our younger race horses. It has been referred to as Contemp. Straight dancing.

Geez, if you call them race horses i must be a thoroughbred....lol....not that good

i find it to just be a further form of expression, compared to the older ways of the hethuska. I am proud of the way i dance, pedigree or not! like i have said in a different forum, when i dance, i dont dance to a song, the song dances through me!

And believe me im pretty "familiar with our dance".
