by CzechyI've noticed that the Iroquois have a very distinct style of beading with raised patterns. It looks so neat. How does one get that raised look? Are the beads hunched up in short stitches or are they beaded over a base of other beads?
And is this stitch only found on certain kinds...-

by GuestA few months ago me and my family went to oklahoma and we stopped at a pawn shop... I never knew you could pawn beadwork. I live in Denver so beadwork is not pawnable here. My husband looked at me crazy cause I was so surprised! LMAO... Then we recognized some beadwork that was there. :stooges: Anyway......

well,
i have beaded some things for some people... and worn others beadwork while dancing... and it all looks good... but some people that dont do their own work... i just get more satisfaction making my own... instead of say, buying pre-maid things from crazy crow or other places... dont...-

by TallmanFLI have seen many others that have dopne their beadwork on index cards and even paper? I have always used canvas and have usually used interfacing behind that.
My question is has anyone had any long term problems with beadwork done on index cards or paper? Does the beadwork fall apart?...-
