the group is called iron boy, singular. both groups are comprised of alot of the same singers, iron boy is a tribute to the late marlon dickenson sr, as we all know was a bro to all these doods. can't really compare the groups, too many of the same doods. they both rock and i doubt you will see them sing against each other any time soon. -

iron boy is actually named after my brother, marlin dickenson, sr.(iron wood boy). the group was formed by reuben crowfeather, sr. in honor of our brother.thats why we all sing together, in rememberance of big mar. only competed at the same powwow once, and both groups were kinda short-handed! sorry, dont think i could vote for either because me and a lot of my bros are members of both groups. pretty much same singers, same song composers, same style.........R.IP. big mar, j-dizzle, and randy t!!Originally posted by opwaaganasin View PostComment

A favorite subject of mine. I love to see groups come out of left field and rock a pow-wow like it was nobody's business and hardly anyone knows where they come from.

My son and I went to a small PowWow that is a part of the Kipona Festival in Harrisburg Pa.
It was held on City Island. City Island is in fact a small island that has a baseball stadium, miniature golf, a small train, and many shops.

Howdy! I am experiancing some diffeculties with a few of my Drums singers. They are both older then myself and its hard for me to know what to do. Iam pretty much the leadsinger and person they depend on for remembering the songs..I also sing the highest and have the most valume to my voice, so I think...07-26-2000, 01:01 AM
