OKIE DOKIE...Here we go. I have different taste in powwow music...I like those drums with some awsome leads or sound!!!
Walkin Horse (This group is a group to look out for)
Dry Lake (Drum groups of Montana always have a good sound)
Young King Bird (Now this is a awsome group, nice slow songs)
North Buffalo (Haven't heard of them in awhile...But sure they are rocking some where on the trail)
Black Eagle (HOLY...These some loud singers, WATCH OUT)
OK NOW!!! THESE ARE MY BOYS HERE...GOING TO BE HOTT ON THE TRAIL OF 2004...LOOK OUT FOR GOOD LEAD SINGING, AWSOME SONGS, & STRAIGHT UP-BUNCH OF COOL DUDES...
North Bear (Sounding very strong at Black Hills Powwow, Powerful rythem to there songs)
Much LOVE too all the groups that made a name & are still getting up there...Sing for the People, & you'll do just fine!!!
PEACE OUT............:D

~Young King Bird~ These dudes sound really good. I seen them earlier this year at Hickley Powwow. Just some young dudes, but they should get up there some day~
~NORTH BEAR~ I met a couple of these dudes at Black Hills Powwow...Yeah, they maybe the next baddest group to come out...They have some killer straight songs. DANG!!! But there leads is what caught my attention. I think some of them use to sing with Native Thunder. I seen them 2 lead singers with Native Thunder at Flordia POWWOW. Oh well, These dudes got my vote. Can't wait to hear them again!
~PipeStone~ These boys have been around for awhile. But they have a good sound. I see these dudes every where. Maybe one day I'll become a good singer & start my own group like these guys did. Very smooth. They have the talent to be one of the best. But they have alot of drums to go against. They should do alright against the big dawgs. They have been anyway *lol* I would like to see these dudes sing again...FHO SHO!!!
These 3 groups I listed. Are the next big dawgs to come out of NDN Country. Be on a LOOK OUT for the North Bear dudes. They are the ones to record...I LIKED there sound. And Young King Bird are maybe the most smoothest group I heard...For new drums anyway. PipeStone speaks for it self!!!
PEACE OUT...........~Powwow is just a Powwow...But it's the drums that make them all come alive~

by The RockA favorite subject of mine. I love to see groups come out of left field and rock a pow-wow like it was nobody's business and hardly anyone knows where they come from.
There are groups that are establishing themselves these days, but I wanna talk about the groups that are just getting off...-

by off the topI noticed that there are alot of powwows on the eastern seaboard from Florida up to Maine. I was just wondering if there is a need for these powwow committees to expand their knowledge of drum groups who are willing to travel and attend their powwows. Its just that I've noticed alot of the same drums...
