Why yall leave us out? jks! No I voted for Pipestone, mainly cuz they the only ones i heard of. Good singers, except for the back up singer they had at Keshena!! lmao Naw but they kool! As for Buffalo Horse being in first place, damn boys, voting for yourselves on here?? I really love this drum group!!! They were whistled so many times at our Shooting Star Casino Pow wow a few years back. They sound awesome. And I think they changed their name right???

My next vote is Young Kingbird, who I listen to every day on the way to work...my 2 yr old daughter will not let me listen to anything else. You should hear her sing along with the cd!!!

There is a group invited to Gathering this year.......Native Thunder. Ever heard of them somebody get back to me.

But I think an up and coming group to hear is the Chippewa Cree singers... i seen them and liked them... sounded good

Heard a group at the Ft. Langley Powwow, second time that I have heard them. They have a really wicked sounding group. Not too high, smooth, Sage Hill. From Kamloopa. They are going to be making a CD out of songs from this past weekend. They sound real cool, the lead singer is Brandon Daniels, champion grass dancer and used to be singer with Eya Hey Nakoda.
