    What is...

    your drum made of?

    Tell us about the shell and the hide. Do you have it covered with a blanket or is it natural? Does your drum hang with "eye-hooks", does it slide into the stand or does it sit on a little lip within the stand?
    To get a true picture of your purpose in life, you only get the whole picture when you listen with your mind, your ears and your heart. This way The Creator has a direct connection with you and only you...no outside interference.

    When you follow the will of IT that created you, understanding that your purpose is not for you...but for IT and all that IT has created, there can be no wrong except failure to be obedient. Only then do we jeopardize the gifts we are given.

    Its not the final destination that defines us, rather the journey taken!

    either this means some are afraid to share or don't know....

      I am recently in posession of a double-sided 18"x22" drum. It appears to be made from one log, light color pine or maple?? I am told its a native american pow wow drum. I am wondering if there is anyone who can tell me more about it, how to tell what the skin is, and what are some venues/resources...

      Can someone please expand on the meaning of honoring the drum with a whistle? I've seen it done but not sure of it's actual meaning or origin. Can anybody do it, or must it be someone specific? MC's often count the number of whistles also. A little background info please?

      How on earth do you work with moose hide? Someone gave me a couple of pieces of it and I can't get the biggest glovers needle through it, can't get a leather punch to punch it, can't get an awl through it---------so what does a person do with it, anyway? Surely it's possible to do something with it....
