Is this one legit? Do they have the funds?

What are payouts and how many places.

Yeah what kind of specials are they having. Also is this just north of ABQ?

Dang the full page ad was in the Navajo Times Newspaper, but it doesn't have any info. No headstaff, grand entry times, nothing. It just says for more info call (505) 867-6700 or go to sanfelipecasino.com. My husband tried to call the number, but no one answered. The website did not have powwow info.

          Oh well......

I tried calling the contact person with initials BM and could not get any one to answer. I was glad in a sense to know someone else on here tried to call and failed. I think I'll head else where that weekend. It would be a 7 hour drive for me and figure I can't get any info, I don't want to chance it payin $1.89 for a gal of gas.....

may or may not be a good turn out?

I went to the powwow 2 years ago and they paid everyone in
checks. Even the drum groups. It took them a month and a half for them to pay everyone. Some people that traveled far also kinda got stranded because they couldn't cash the checks. There check cost me $150 in overdraft fees and they couldn't even pay me back for that. I had a bad experience and everyone around the area is saying that a majority of people will not show up?

But the drums they listed before backed out from what I hear. And they had to get one of the local drum groups from ABQ. to host the southern drum. It took the casino alot of conviencing for the drum to accept, especially what happend 2 years ago. So not real sure who will be there, the first staff they had, some aren't coming. For sure not the Southern Drum anyway? But that's all the info I got ???

So hey Cosmo, do you know if they are paying out cash or checks????? We don't need no more bad rep. powwows down here. And it looks like they have decent head staff.

It's at the Speedway behind the Hollywood (San Felipe) Casino. It is outside, unless they get a tent. Weather man said dry, but we'll see.

Also I saw a note on a poster that said one time $2 Dancer registration fee.
