    Host Northern Drum - Mystic River/ Host Southern Drum - Rose Hill/ Head Gourd Dance Singer - Neil Monoessy/ 2004 Princess - Janine Velasquez/ Arena Director - Spud Brown/ All drums & dancers invited, FREE Camping, no admission charge, 49/Hand Drum Contest Saturday night, Harrison Whitecloud Family sponsored Hand Drum Contest Sunday afternoon; Men's Fancy Dance Special $1,500 Saturday night in honor of Harrison Whitecloud. Call Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino for powwow rate at the BVR Hotel (877) BV-Ranch (287-2624) by Friday, August 20th and refer to POWWOW04. Food Booths are sold out; arts & crafts vendors please just show up at the powwow grounds with $150 bucks for a 10 x 10 spot. BYO set-up. More info 619-443-6612.

        Yes....... Labor Day weekend - September 3rd - 5th, 2004. This is the kick-off for the Cali circuit. Despite the October fire that swept through the rez, there are still trees and plenty of camping.
