Actually I did make it over there on Friday night for about half an hour and Saturday for the first part of the Grand Entry - left Friday cause I was so tired and Saturday so I could get home to Canada. Ponemah was alright this year, but man the rain really made it hard to enjoy. It rained Saturday and Sunday, sprinkled some on Monday. The belly flop slide contest was CRAZY!!
All I can remember for specials are Richard Street won the Brian Chee grass special and Brian Waskewich won the Chicken and Richard Street got 2nd.
Saturday night and Sunday afternoon Brian, Irvin and Delia sang round dance songs.....man she can sing! She's awesome. It was a nice pow wow though. Probably go back next year. Nice family gathering. Real good people.It does not require many words to speak the truth.

The rain really sucked! I really had a good time there on Friday night. There were 127 tiny tots and I counted 53 jingle dress dancers before I lost track. Then the rain came and washed everybody out. Who won the Mud sliding contest?Comment

[email protected] contest....i think a it was dat one guy fra ceder creek...i forgot his name..and sum unknown guy...hehehe..lol....it was a tie breaker....so they both splited....yeah it was REAL muddy...i dunno what i'm gonna do about moccs dis weekend at milwaukee indian summer p.w...HMMM??!!....lol...man....i SO WISHED i had a tape recorder cuz red bull was singing rounddance songs like after supper...i was like omg....they are da BOMB...lmfao..yeah...it was all good until it RAINED tha POW WOW OUT!!...which was tha whole weekend..hehe...but u kno how we pow wow ppl do it...gotta snag it up....lol...{_.-^....::::Keep Your Statz Straight and Your Head Up::::....^-._}

i recorded like the whole powwow :)
redbull was the Bestttt n their were some other ones in their i thaught were kickass blackbearcrossing may be my fav though !! but i forgot the names guess im too tired to remember too much of anything i was like one of the last ppl to leave the powwow monday night n my boys kept fighting and they messed up the entire vehicle and now im still tired*L*
i had alot of fun~!*~!* wish the rain would of stayed away and the wind geezzz could it Be any windier

P-Town had over 700 dancers Saturday. THE STUPID RAIN KILLED EVERYTHING!...The lady who sang with Red Bull was the shyt! I wish I can sound so good but not in this life time. She had a awesome singing voice.....Do your thang!Comment
