Will not be able to go to Richmond due to finances. I need to do some beadwork for it and I probably won't dance it until next year. I also need mocs for it. Totally different color scheme than what I have so I need to do new stuff for it. Yes it is very beautiful and I was very happy and surprised.

Congrats to you Kristey for a job well done. For this being your first time organizing a p/w, you did an outstanding job and I give you 5 out of 5 stars.
I, also, want to thank y'all for having me as your MC. I had a great time. I just wish that it had not rained on Sunday but we can't control the weather. I just hope that everyone was pleased, or at least somewhat pleased, w/ the job that I did. Also, thanks to everyone that gave me words of encouragement this past weekend. Thanks again to everyone and congrats to all the winners.
Hope to see y'all in Richmond.

It def sounds like you had a good turnout.
Yeah, Singerdad it sounds like that doesn't it but actually the Richardson's are Haliwa-Saponi, there are just a few that are Meherrin (where a Meherrin married a Haliwa).
Glad everyone had a great time - hope to see all in Richmond!

Sorry it took me so long. I spent the day resting and doing things that I needed to do around here. Thank you to all that attended and to all that felt that it was a great powwow. I have to give a big thank you to my family for all their help. A big thank you to my wonderful husband. He composed a song in my honor and gave me a new regalia. Made me cry! :Blush
