    Pre-Registration Problems

We've gotten a few e-mails that suggest that some people are having problems with the pre-registration form that is on the website.

Not to worry... IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS SUBMITTING THE FORM ONLINE, BUT WOULD STILL LIKE TO REGISTER ONLINE, simply copy the pertinent information into an e-mail and send it to me via e-mail: [email protected]

***Don't forget when you submit you will have to enter the user name and password. Both of them are "register".

  • Great Salt Water Powwow - Dancers/Singers Pre-Registration

There is now an online registration form so that dancers and singers can pre-register for the Great Salt Water Powwow (Nov 5-7 - Jacksonville, NC).

You can actually submit your pre-registration form online, or you can print it out and send it in the mail.

Either way, as long as it's in by October 22, 2004, you'll save loads of time and avoid having to wait in line to register once you get there.

    Find the form here: www.greatsaltwater.com.

In case you've been out of the loop lately, here is the pertinent powwow info:

    MC:
    John Blackfeather

    HOST DRUMS:
    Black Lodge
    Cedartree
    Eastern Bull

    HEAD DANCERS
    Lady: Loy Anquoe Apriesnig (Kiowa)
    Man: Doug Logan (Occaneechi)

This is a NON-PROFIT, INTERTRIBAL powwow that will serve many purposes...

    Education
    Honoring Veterans
Honoring Individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to various Native issues
Celebrating Indian Heritage month in a BIG way!

Which Powwow is a Must See for the Powwow Virgin?
    by greagirl
Yes, I confess it. I am still a virgin...a powwow virgin. I have been heartily assured that should I attend a powwow and hear the drums that my wayward hearty helping of Native blood would rise up and do the brown skin boogie. (Sorry I have not the gadgetry as one person here apparently has to measure...

So you've bought yourself a nice digital camera, took it to a powwow and snapped off several gigabytes worth of photos till your battery finally ran out, or you ran out of memory, but now you have to figure out what to do with all of them. Most people will just simply copy them to their computer, maybe...

    More than a powwow...
    by skaroreh
This year's upcoming First Annual Great Salt Water Powwow is actually much more than a powwow. There will also be an Educational Fair, a very special Honor & Gratitude Ceremony (as well as the Wall of Honor & Gratitude) AND we'll be doing our part to help the COLD and HUNGRY.

    SO.......
