At a traditional powwow the dancers get day money, instead of having contests, and there are usually alot of specials.

The Sisseton powwow is listed in the pws.com calendar as Gathering of Warriors Wacipi at Dakota Magic Casino, ND.

The gathering of warriors powwow begins thursday nite 7:00 and end on saturday at whatever time. Come and join the vets as this may be our last year as hosts. No singing contest this year but have a drum split of $5000, but have some good specials with good prize money.
