I know it's way early, but since i live so far away from AB - i am planning ahead to attend the G of N 2005.

is anyone planning to attend/participate in the Gathering of Nations 2005?

What hotels would you recommend, places to eat etc.

my youngest kid is going with the school and my mom is also. id like to, but i should start saving now... i guess id have to look at the website and try to find one close to the place eh....

go to orbitz.com and get a room at the Marriot off the interstate, I only paid 180 for 3 nights there.....good deal!!!!!

Yes.. definately make reservations NOW!.. *L* I've already made mine. I'd recommend someplace close to the PIT... i.e. Best Western Airport Inn. One year.. they put us at this hotel waaaaaaaaaay across town (near the mountains).. took forever to get to the pow wow!!!

We didn't eat much while we were there last year or the year before.. *L* too bizee to eat.. BUT ooh my gawd.. the Buffet at the Isleta Casino was delish!!!! AND... Mmm.. I can't wait to go eat sum ndn tacos at that stand... Umm.. It's one way at the end... at the left... Hmmm I can taste the frybread already.. :7: :7:

I've been saving all my pennies.. :p sooo hopefully it all works out!!!

dang, that is a good deal 50 ... ty ... i love the Marriot - that's where we stayed in Moscow ... gaaaaaaaaawd it was safe, clean and purty dang nice.
