Oh no, that's not their fault about the potholes, dancers just have to be mindful of them though. I pray when I'm a grandma in golden age I remember to avoid them!

Like I said, the singing was good, the weather was nice and cool, and the committee did a great job! CSULB's Native student associate is by far the most together student group in So. Cal, lots of synergy. As long as you dance on grass or dirt, you are going to have potholes. No helping that.

You want something that will accommodate your dancers and yet not have them shoulder to shoulder like at Gathering. As usual, the committee did a good job running their pow-wow. You've got a point there about UCLA. The main thing that bothers me about CSULB is that during intertribals I have to remember to practice and survey the arena prior to my contest. There are some hum dinger potholes on the northeast side of the center drum and ooh boy if you hit them while you're contesting.....

I remember when my mother asked permission from the Gabrielinos/Tongva for a powwow to be held in San Dimas. They were happy that somebody recognised them and actually asked since the greater L.A. basin is their territory.

I was there and I agree with Burberrilish that Rocky Park sounded very good. As for the circle feeling small, that's the way it has been at CSULB.

The powwow is pretty good since a dancer only needs to worry about one contest session for the whole powwow. Adults will probably contest on Sunday only with the teens on Saturday and specials scattered throughout.

I might be able to make it to this one. It's either this one or san carlos. Red bull or cali. That's a tough call. The week after that is denver. Do they still have indio pw the week after denver? They used to.
