my whole family went except for mee.. they did pretty good selling worldclass beadwork. overall everyone had a good trip. i definiately heard about this afterwards.
well anyways august is a hard month to break into the powwow scene. you have to go big or dont bother soo i guess thats the deal with the head staff and drums. theres alot of nice pw's in august. theres crow fair, shakopee, schmitzun just to mention a few. i think dc is gonna be nice pw to add to the already impressive lineup.
it would be nice if this turned into some kind of gathering of nations powwow, *i think* and spike draper as head man dancer that should be a nice special sat night..!!

Thing that made me mad about that old timer passing away, was with all the government buildings and National Park officers around, no one had a defibrillator. It only took 20 or 30 minutes for an ambulance too.

looking forward to singing down there....it was hot the last time we had a powwow there. so hot a tradish dancer dropped dead of heart attack during intertribal. sad, but it was a good powwow other than that

I just got the email flyer yesterday, sooo, damn it sure looks good, hmm, first annuals are always tricky though huh?
But I imagine the money is there and a crowd will be there for sure so it makes me wonder if I should sling some real good old fashion Traditional Frybread at the crowds there and clean up with a few grand or so, hmmm. I may go, still got friends, family and a landlord in Arlington, VA. hmm. *L*
I really wanna go especially since I missed the grand opening of the museum.
It's gonna be wicked.
