Ok - first Tall Injun began this thread because of a controversy that didn't really happen, but then the thread like got turned all the way around....and then somehow on page whatever - I read where a gentleman states that he is Native and is able to speak his mind....and then he attacks the man who built the website...ok = what did I miss?

Paul - you have seen this before when this happens - - to Blacktipfeathers - sorry dude you ain't the firs to all of a sudden attack the webmaster - all of us have seen and a few have had cyber stalkers, haters or whatever....just comes when you do positive change. And to me - this board is making a difference....and that's life.

I know that on this board, there may be things that you don't like - things you don't agree with, but at least you have a place where you can come and discuss that crap - with other folks that can actually relate....and that **** rocks all day....no matter who you are.

I personally take offense to you looping Paul Gowder in with others that may not have good efforts at heart...thru this board, I have been able to meet some of the best people in my life - majority Native - and I have been here for 5 years - and have yet to be charged or paid anything - but the things this board have brought me are priceless. Personally - I don't give a flip what Paul's nationality is, even tho he states his tribal affiliation right there on his bio (how many of you don't even do that??) I am being honest - cuz he has brought so many folks together that NEVER, EVER WOULDA MET!!!!

So anyway - all that said - this thread is , but what the hell was it about anyways.....o h yeah - CONTROVERSY.....GO FIGURE....

Now let's dance... - and hey I am soooo jealous that you met Mickey and got pics!!!....Actually my daughter met him and Goofy when I took her - she was like 6 - but I was the one gushing - like GAW....so close to them that I didn't even snap a photo - among greatness......

Well, as a full blood native american, pow wow person..I support this site because it is just plain awesome. And if I am standing in the free ration line for free pow wow info...so be it. LOL
I get alot of my information as to the upcoming powwows, pics from pow wow, videos, and can post my area upcoming pow wows on here and invite those who would like to attend.
It is a positive site that promotes pow wows, what more can you ask?
This is a great website and I enjoy it very much. Thanks, Paul, for all your hard work.
Please don't put down this website to promote another, I think there is more than enough pow wow sites to go around, that's the power of free choice. Let the people make their choice and don't condemn them if it is not the same as yours, please.

He got escorted out for recording another drum? WTF is up with that? GON is the only place that makes a big deal out of recording drums......

GON seems to be unfair in the "policy" of not allowing recording of others drums. every pow wow i have been to - whether big or small - there were always people who recorded.
