At a "Quik Stop" on the edge of town, I asked the lady behind the counterabout the helmets. She exploded into a rage, yelling at me, "You darnYankees never read your Bibles!"
I assured her that I did, but simply couldn't recall anything about firemenin the Bible.
She jerked her Bible from behind the counter and riffled through somepages, and finally jabbed her finger at a passage. Sticking it in my faceshe said, "See, it says right here, 'The three wise men came from afar"

I went over Saturday evening. It was pretty nice. Just a little dusty and a little sprinkle. Things were going very smooth, thanks to Matt and Hamon Motah for keeping things going along.
I heard it was hot during the day. And Sunday it looked like it probably rained.

I missed my chance of going this year. The weather can be an iffy situation. When we camped out it rained but during the day time it was hot. I remember one time before supper break it got so windy that one of the tents was twisting 20 feet in the air. Kinda looked like the house in the Wizard of Oz. Sometimes it can get really muddy as well. It's a decent local NM powwow of course.

High 80s and low 90s is freezing weather compared to the 115 degree temperature in Phoenix. Almost cold enough to make a snow woman.

At this pow-wow we're expecting thousands of people. Why? Because we have thousands and thousands of dollars up for prize money---for singers and dancers. So anyway it's this HUGE pow-wow. The problem? The weather is unpredictable and the arbor does not have a roof. What are we gonna do if the pow-wow...

by dtownUnfortunately, it doesn’t come as no surprise that the Ann Arbor Powwow has a continuous diet of the same picked staff & dance winners. I have attended this powwow for the last 8/years, and each time some families like Schuyler or Cleland end up winning or being chosen as staff with their crony...

by MikeBurgessHi everyone,my heart tends to race pretty fast lately and I don't know if it’s because I started taking too much coffee per day or because of a more serious health problem. Now I'm literally a coffee addict. Any idea to stop this?
