    Does anyone have any info on that Rhode Island powwow this weekend?

    There is no pow-wow this coming weekend the 23-24th.The next pow-wow in RI is the naraggansett pow-wow the 13-14th of August. It will be in Charlestown another one will be the 27th and 28th in Bristol at colt state park. the naraggansett pow-wow is a contest one the other is a traditional intertribal. hope this helps..

      THERE IS A POWWOW this w/e July 23-24th. It is a CONTEST PowWow, dance and drum.

              is there camping or hotels around at a decent price??? thinking about going down there. last second decision.. who is singing smoke dance??

                we had a hard time searchin for rooms....it's peak beach season for that area & most of the inns/motels/hotels had a 2 night minimum stay. It's a short drive from Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun & the rest of those "border" towns....i think we found a place down the road on the CT side.

                  FYI....i called the tribal office yesterday & they said they have camping for participants. I didnt ask if they charged for camping or about "facilities". the phone # is on that web site, you might wanna call to make sure ;)

                    no kidding man - it's right near da beach (boyyyy!) haha... so most of the places i called in westerly were like $250/night +!!!! soooo i suggest ya'll tha places in mystic or groton, ct

                      we were planning to go but, quik changes. hubby job offfer. it sounds like a goooot one. i remember the last one it was gooot too. everyone have a safe trip. have aBLAST, hey youz guyz give my daughter Head Dancer, and family a big sloppy kiss for me. we wished we could be there to support her, and PW. everyone enjoy the beaches there theyre awlsome. stay coooool.

                            didn't they use to have this powwow with the health fair several years back? or was that a different powwow? then there's also that little narragansett contest one in aug.

                              IS THAT JUST FOR LIL NARRAGANSETT'S OR CAN ANY BODY COMPETE .....
