Parking is going to an issue. According to the powwow committee, no vehicles will be allowed on the ball field. Vendors have to cart in their wares. There will be no designated parking areas for vendors/dancers/singers. So, parking is on a first-come first-serve basis.

This is funny cuz it took the committee until today to ask if I was available for this powwow!

Looking forward to hearing Mr. Arnie!

Well, this is going to be the beginning of the cooler powwows here in central AZ. So, expect temperatures to drop as soon as the sun starts going down in the evening. Jackets or blankets are recommended.

Last time I heard Black Lodge was at Trump 29 a couple of years ago, they were jamming. I'm glad it's at the old field, the sand at the casino gets on you, your car, your clothes, your regalia, everything........I'm glad.
Fall down 7 times, get up 8. MY FAMOUS WORDS.

                            Three weekends to go!

The field has grass ... but the softball diamond is all dirt. And the powwow arena will be located directly behind second base (which is in the northeastern direction from the home plate). This means that if a wind kicks up, the dirt and dust from the diamond will be in everyone's face.

And again, parking is going to be a big issue.
