I had a good time at RME ... only issue is the late ending on Sunday evening.

The MC, AD, Gourd Drum and Host Drum were ready at all times.

Too Late Georgie Boy, Your name is already on the flyer & the committee also decided to pledged half of your summer contest winnings toward the men's categories. The committee also voted that you donate your time in a good injun way to assist the arena director, MC, tabulators, pagent contestants & committee frybread stand while you're down here at the powwow.

Didn't go, but it sounds like a good turnout. Just get ready for the roadtrip up north, but hope we can hit a powwow this coming weekend. This month is too busy for us.

I thought yesterday was pretty cool too. I agree; the spotlight was better this year. Having all the dancers out there at the same time just doesn't seem to do the dancers justice. If they bust a great move in the dark, who's gonna know? This is the 3rd year in a row I've been to this pow wow. Really? They used to have it at the ballfield? Why was it moved back? Yes, the roast lamb was $8 again and was still good. I never find the roast mutton until after I'd already eaten. What's that Navajo herb tea? I thought I was getting the wild tea. Next week: ASU West then on to Ft. McDowell!

Please water the ground if it's going to be on the dirt part of the field. I can't remember if there was grass or not.

I'm glad it's back @ the ball field. I think I just might videotape this weekend. Maybe.
