                      Looks pretty good and I hate to be hatin, but;

                      Why did they choose Nashoba Simmons as Head Southern Drum Judge? Does he have knowledge of southern singing? or it don't matter he just collect the ballots and turn them in to the tabulators.

                      Will he select his own judges or does the committee select the judges.

                      If he basically just gets the ballots and hands them over to the tabulators then it don't matter. Otherwise I would get a singer with more knowledge. A singer who may not attend otherwise, like: J Kemble, Joe Fish, Lloyd Gwin, etc....

                      I'm not hatin just wonderin out loud, this is a forum eh?

                            Why bash Nashoba? He is a good dancer and singer. He can sing Southern or Northern. I believe that if GoN staff thinks enough of him to ask him to be their head southern judge, that he deserves that opportunity.

                              Here is a novel idea. Maybe they thought he'd be fair

                              I agree with you!

                              He doesn't drink or party so maybe they think he'll take care of business, be fair in his selection of judges (choose young and old judges).

                              I remember when he was a kid in cali and set up his own drum at pow wows with other youngsters.

                              It appears to me like GoN is looking toward recognizing some of our young folks this year... with Jaz and Tawny as well as Nashoba, good for them.
