      1. Kimberly Daylight didn't get 1st(4th?, but they didn't announce that. Should've been 2nd IMO)

      Mens Grass
      1. Brandon Tiger(he's good)
      2. or 3. William Tsosie (don't remember which)

      Womens Jingle
      1. RaeAnn Simmons
      2. Molly King (why does head lady contest?)

      Boys Traditional
      1. Issac Hamilton
      2. Coleman American Horse

1st and 2nd in Boys Straight were really jammin!

I would hate to have been a judge in Mens Straight...lot of really good dancing going on.

Sorry to go off the subject... But why would a head lady contest? I just think it's inappropriate. Once I contested against two other ladies (one was head lady) and I did not place because the powwow only sponsored two places. I felt like I got robbed because the head lady placed and so basically she got paid twice that weekend. Maybe I'm just being a sore loser but when I was head lady I never entered the contest. I always danced but never contested. Anways, sorry to go off the subject but I just had to get that off my chest. I did go to Wyandotte this weekend and it was so hot! Women's cloth and buckskin contest were both during the hottest part of the day and I felt like I was going to overheat after my contest.

Dreams4u, are you always angry about the powwows that you attend? Because some (not all by any means) of the posts that I've read of yours you are always complaining or something.

Man, you sound like me..cause I don't write things down either.

Hey Dreams, don't let folks remarks bother ya. I agree with what you say 98% of the time. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind. I've read your posts and don't see a thing wrong with them. Seems to me you know what you're talking about and speak your mind. I admire that. I'm wondering how many contests tworedshoes has entered and won so THEY would know what you mean. It's cool.

Smoke dancing hasn't made it that far south yet. Probably very few know what it is.

This powwow went really well. The weather cooperated and didn't rain during the dance. The arena was filled with so many good dancers. I managed to write down some of the winners.
