I don't know about the drums, but I'm really lookin' forward to this one. I'm very excited about serving as the Head Dancer with my wife at her Pow Wow.
To get a true picture of your purpose in life, you only get the whole picture when you listen with your mind, your ears and your heart. This way The Creator has a direct connection with you and only you...no outside interference.

When you follow the will of IT that created you, understanding that your purpose is not for you...but for IT and all that IT has created, there can be no wrong except failure to be obedient. Only then do we jeopardize the gifts we are given.

Its not the final destination that defines us, rather the journey taken!

From one singer to the next, and someone no stranger to serving as a member of the Head Staff.....looking forward to it myself.

                        question

Only the men's traditional is split between northern and southern?
                        what about the women's traditional?

I knew this would come up. I have been fighting for the split categories for a long time. This year they just agreed to do Men. I totally understand that this not fair. I even said that when they mentioned it. Our only hope is that if another category doesn't show up, then we can take that money and split it among the Women's Northern Traditional. A long time ago at the meeting, the powers that be felt that there was not enough of the 2 separate categories to split them. Then Men's Southern Straight started showing up in droves. So they finally agreed on them, but said we don't have enough Women's No. that come to make a separate category. Let me say that I apologize for this (even though I was never for the ruling on this). My vision is to one day be able to have it separate for both Men and Women and not have to fight over it. Please accept my apology. I do hope that this doesn't deter you from coming. Like I said, there is usually a category that doesn't show up, maybe we can work with that.

Ahoskie Inn is the better one but I think they are all booked up.

                              Next would be the Tomahawk.

Obviously the Bed and Breakfast is nice, but it's probably expensive.

I would call ASAP before all the rooms go out. Hope this helps.
