I wish I could be there but with Grneyendn's wedding the next weekend I can't afford to come two weekends in a row! I think I have missed the last 4 Lumbee powwows. :(

Ok - went to pow-wow today - left at dinner break.

Great crowd, considering that there is def a chill in the air...

Three drums - Stoney Creek, Southern Suns and Kau-ta-noh, Jrs. Loads of dancers from all over....

Keith of course, doing a great job...saw Tigger there, finally - I have missed him --- how many pow-wow's?

Going back tomorrow - more then...

Don't forget to set your clocks back tonight folks...

Yeah Smokin'. Do me a favor too, and say hi to Kieth for me. Also, tell him to say hi to his mom and dad.

See what happens when you start posting!

Why must I feel like that..why must I chase the cat?

                    Hey!

Sorry we didn't make it seems as if all are having a good time. Talked to my brother this morning., Have to call and get the scoop from him tonight.. Took summer to the zoo instead at my g'parents to keep her out of the cold. We will for sure be in Richmond though since it is in side.. Kay tell Racheal I said hello and I am missing her..

I will relay all messages - it should be warmer tomorrow - and Rachel used her crutches today instead of her wheelchair, and she got along pretty good. I will def tell her you said HI Sallie.

So Petey, ya coming to Richmond - we are so looking forward to it....should be a great one...

Wow - talk about being on time - I went back to the pow-wow to take my son his jacket, and at approximately 5:05 PM, the pow-wow was over and folks were bailing....wow.

Only end results I heard was that Stoney Creek got 1st and Kau-ta-noh, Jrs. got 2nd. (They were only two drums competing.) Two other drums showed today - 2 young drums - ones from Hawkeye (Young Bucks) and the others are a newer group - I am sure someone else will post correct names - it's always good to see young drums come out.

Weather held out - good seeing everyone...see most of you wild cats at Richmond in 2 weeks.

the only two that i know the names of that place were April Whitmore took 3rd in female traditional (and got robbed in my opinion) and Josh (i think his last name is Richardson) took 1st in mens grass. they called out #'s instead of names. so i don't have the rest. sorry.

this was an awesome pow wow and i'm glad that i got to go. all the drums did an awesome job. Southern Sun, Stoney Creek and Kau-ta-noh, Jrs were jammin and puttin out kick azz songs all weekend. Keith did an awesome job and even told the spectators what the judges were looking for during the comps.

it was awesome seeing all my old friends down at this pow wow. has been years since i went to this neck of the woods and i came to realize that i missed this area, alot.

Smokin, Fly by Night, Chief420 it was realy good talkin to yall all weekend and will see ya'll at Richmond. Smokin please tell rachel hi for me and it was really nice meetin her.
