            This was the first pow wow I ever went to back in 2002. I ended up standing right at the entrance for grand entry. Totally awesome for a bilagaana who had never seen anything like that before. Although I've come to enjoy other pow wows more (venders, atmosphere, etc.) this one will always be a bit special for that first experience. Count me in this year too!

              Head Judge: Cletis Mark, Farmington, New Mexico
              Head Gourd Dancer: Michael Burgess, Anadarko, Oklahoma
              Arena Director: Randy Medicine Bear, Rosebud, South Dakota
              Co-Master of Ceremonies: Dennis Bowen, Tuba City, Arizona


              Friday:
              5:30 p.m. - Gourd Dance
              7 p.m. - Grand Entry

              Saturday:
              11:30 a.m. & 5:30 p.m. - Gourd Dance
              1 p.m. & 7 p.m. - Grand Entry

              Sunday:
              11:30 a.m. - Gourd Dance
              1 p.m. - Grand Entry


              The ASU Pow Pow is looking for volunteers to
              assist in the success of the 2006 event.
