the weather has been nice this week. this past weekend was crazy though. hope to see you all this weekend.

Don't forget to chow down on the "Whitehouse Overlook" at the Junction Cafe before leaving Chinle!

This is the only restaurant where you can get a Navajo Tortilla as a substitute for toast.

Not to mention the Navajo Burgers at Holiday Inn... the best on the ReZ!!

its good to hear from everyone.....esp. mr techno....good to see you brother....well...this is micco...and im checking to see if this powwow "whispering winds" has a southern straight dance catagory...and if they got jackets...lol....goin to try to dance maybe ..its been a long time...since last year..so se what happens....as far as good place to eat....ummmmbashas' chicken...and good ole shasta pop.....wheccha.......and who is the head gourd singer..i want to jam...and does anyone know how the roads are over buffalo pass....well....hope to hear from yah

I'm gonna guess Buffalo Pass is snowed in. They don't maintain it as well as Nabona Pass and it got 32 inches of snow last week.

We are planning of heading around by Mexican Springs, cuz of the constructions between Tsaile and Chinle too.

Just a suggestion.

Or else just go around Teec Nos Pos, Mexican Water, Rock Point and Many Farms... dry roads.... I imagine.

We are, however, forecast to be getting some more wet weather in the form of snow or rain this weekend.

Yup, we (husband and I) are coordinators again this year. Gluttons for punishments. We are working on ordering our jackets soon. : )

Micco, hey bro, how are you doing? Good to "hear" from you!

I don't know about the contest dance catagories or if they have jackets for the winners or not, but we'll all find out this weekend. Gourd dance is scheduled for Thursday evening, but I won't be there for that session, so I don't have any info on the drum for that. As far as I know, I'll be setting up Friday afternoon and rock the weekend away!

The UofA Wildcat powwow follows right after Whispering Wind (nice warm spring weather in the Old Pueblo area).
