good pow wow...although we got rained out on saturday! Committee seriously needs to find a rain out site....seriously! it happens every year!!! need the old committee back!!! head female judge was picking locals to judge...people who don't know what they're looking for.... but other than that, it was good! congrats to all the winners! good job to the head male judge-herbert....running around on crutches after ankle surgery!

This was the first time we'd been up to Salamanca, i really enjoyed myself. The powwow was GOOD on sunday!! I really wished they had an alternative for saturday tho, the rain was rediculous!! Then to continue & have everyone dance 1 song under that tiny tent was a lil nuts to me.....i didnt wanna ruin my moccs so i danced in my sneakers. It worked out tho, we were done early....and got to enjoy the rest of saturday evening.
I'd definitely go back!! Congrats to all the winners & a shout out to the NC homies who did well up there, it's good to see you guys travelin!

This was a good powwow,,I must give a shout out to the ladies of our drum group Southern Sun,,, yall girls rocked all weekend!!! Loved the smoke dance and the scenery was awesome on Sunday. Much love to the powwow committee for putting on a good show,, hopefully in the future there want be as much rain. I look forward to returning to Salamanca and doing it all over again up in Seneca Country!!

By the way,,, the hospitality was great,,almost felt like the south!! LOL
