I am head dancer at a one day contest pow wow here in OKC, OKlahoma this Saturday. I am inviting anyone in the vicinity to come and check it out. It should be pretty good.
It will be located at the fairgrounds and grand entry is at 7:00 and there are contests in all adult categories: ladies cloth, buckskin, jingle, and fancy shawl(separate) and men's straight, grass, traditional and fancy. The prize money is 300-200-100.
Head singer is Herb Adson, Head Man is Cricket Shields, AD is Lewis Cozad and Head Judge is Joe Fish Dupoint. Gourd Dancing in the afternoon from 2-5:30 then supper break.
Hope you guys can make it!!!!
I am thankful for my grandparents, my parents, my brothers, my aunties and uncles, my children, my companion and all of those who influenced me to be strong and proud of being who I am and where I come from. Knowledge is power
