Drum and Specialty Dance Contests, Gourd Dancing at San Dimas Powwow
The San Dimas 8th Annual Intertribal Powwow will have a drum contest, hand drum contest, potato and owl dance, switch dance and team dance contests this year as well as Gourd Dancing for the first time in its history.
Drum Contest: $300.00 Winner Take All prize
Hand Drum Contest: $100.00 Winner Take All prize
Potato Dance and Owl Dance, Saturday: $50.00 prize
Men’s and Women’s Switch Dance, Sunday: $75.00 prize
Team Dance Contest, Sunday: $75.00 prize
Tony Tots, Saturday and Sunday: $50.00 (25-10-5)
