I was helping out my bros from Atsa Butte, but I also felt sorry from my bro Tate trying to do his best with the announcing. I ended up helping the other drums during the evening session because they are also my bros. I don't know how the event went on Friday or Sunday, but I had things to do.

I may still start separate threads now and then, but for the most part, this list is what I accumulated through the years. Please add to it so we all know what is happening next.

Some info on the Veterans Memorial Powwow at Salt River: This is an honor gourd dance and social powwow for all veterans (past and present) with Yellow Hammer as the host drum.

It will be at the Casino Arizona facility off of 101 and Mckellips.

Gourd dancing will be from 11 AM to 5 PM each day with a social powwow on Saturday evening along with cultural performances.

With rising fuel prices, it might be a good idea to stay close to home and support our veterans and their families.

                            Well said, TT.

No kidding, gas prices are ridiculous.

Besides, it'll be nice & warm and a cool evening to stay around.

Who wants to be where its cold?

Not me, this is Chamber of Commerce weather!

The rest of the country is envious of our weather, right now.

(Summer is a different story, lol)

                              Arizona's Fallen

Since this w/e is a Veteran's powwow, I thought adding this link in today's Arizona Republice would be appropriate.

                              100 AZ Fallen Soldiers to-date

A sad milestone, but we must pay tribute, everyday, in every way.
