Two wrongs don't make a right. If if a seller wants to protect his rep, he should through on the transaction or return the money.

Obviously you saw Friday....Advertising or Marketing helps folks vent...It could also be a warning to others not to trust an individuals services....Obvious stuff right....I sort of come from a different school of thought though....and i'm going to find it quite interesting to hear via moccasin telegraph or "little birds" just who catches it this summer......

If it had been months, then I can see your concern. I know Jeff, and am certain he wouldn't intentionally rip anyone off. His passion for singing and drumming prohibits him from doing so.

Folks like to take the cheap way....

See if they had some heart they would express themselves instead of sneaking around....It's pretty funny though when they try to be sly and get caught out there....

it would be nice if every transaction would go well and honorably, but thats just not reality

    Homeland security

I had not thought of that. That is a good spin and throws another angle on things. It is possible that a box 26" long, 6" wide and deep box might be suspect but he should still have a tracking number (which he does not) and even then he should still keep up appearances instead of hiding. Homeland security... does not work.

    Boozhoo niji,

I know how you feel on the other side of the coin man. I made a breech cloth and leggings set for a friend, was rushed and given priority and shipped overnight from Florida to Sturgis. I was in close contact with him all the way through. I called him the day he was supposed to get the package, and he said he hadnt check yet, would do later. I tried calling him the next day, and never heard from him again. I was wired the money and shipped out the same day I collected the money. But I was going to ask him if he was satisfied or if he ever even got the darn things.

Also had problems with this kind of thing on ebay. I would ship out, recommend UPS to my customers and they would insist on normal mail. I gave no guarantees on delivery times using regular postal. It took two months for a package to go from Florida to Puerto Rico. The guy threatened to give me bad feedback. I had and still have a 100% feedback rating and I just kept in contact with him, telling him to stay calm and the package was on its way. He finally got it.

A word about FedEx and the regular mail. Priority shipping through USPS actually gets shpped FedEx. Its the reason why you see a FedEx box in front of your local post office. But when it comes to space on the planes FedEx packages get priority over USPS.

Something else I know... Because of homeland security, there are more and more things going through inspection, where they actually open packages and even destroy the items within in the searching. My coworker has a motorcycle that was made overseas in India by Royal Infieild. He ordered a special seat and horn for his bike. They were shipped and stopped in customs, some place in Minnesota. The items were unpacked and disassembled in the process, destroying the items. New ones had to be ordered. The replacement items were paid for by the shipper, no charge to the customer, but it took a total of 2 months to receive the seat and horn.

Crazy world we live in aint it?

    Derek

    The Running Man

Well here it is several days after posting a very accusatory thread towards aye_how_er_007 and still not a word from Mr. Walsh. Did you know that you can look under the members list and see when a user has logged in last... and his last log in was 02-28-2007 pg.74. So, his friends had told him that he has been mentioned in a bad way on an open forum and by his logging in I am guessing that he has seen this thread and yet still not a word to me. NO PHONE CALL, NO EMAIL, NO MESSAGE, NO TRACKING NUMBERS, NO RETURN MONIES, NO STICKS.

Thanks to Powwows.com for letting me put this thread out there and tell about this fraudulent transaction. I may have broke some rules by naming someone outright but I have the paperwork that proves my case. Thanks Jibby for trying to settle things and thanks to those who have posted in support and shared previous experiences with other shadey acting people. I am not done right now by a long shot. I still have some irons to burn... maybe one will get hot enough to burn or shed some light on this issue.

I know! I tried emailing and PMing her every week and she stopped repsonding to me. I know she was online because (thanks to Paul) I would look at the Who's Online form and I could see that she posted that day. I had no other option but to put her on blast and let everyone on the board know that she took my money.

It's coming...that time of year when I once again embark on a pilgramage of survival. I load up 20 dogs and take to the highway, headed south and hopefully warmer weather. As I plan for the trip, I marveled at how quickly the year had past, and remembered a homecoming funny from last spring.... and...
